Meet our gentle donkeys, Maddie and Petal, and enjoy a spooky hands-on experience at Larkrise Community Farm this halloween. Perfect for young animal lovers, our 45-minute Donkey Sessions give children the opportunity to spend quality time with our friendly donkeys while learning all about their care in a safe and relaxed farm environment.
During the session, children will:
🌿 Lead a donkey around the farm
🪥 Learn how to groom and care for a donkey
🥕 Discover what donkeys eat and help prepare their food
❤️ Build confidence while interacting with gentle, friendly animals
Each session is led by our experienced and qualified volunteer Jackie, who has a wealth of knowledge about caring for donkeys and loves sharing her passion with others.
Whether your child is meeting a donkey for the first time or already adores farm animals, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn, have fun and make some unforgettable halloween memories.

Times: 10am and 1.30pm
Duration: 45 minutes
Cost: £12 per child
If under 8, children must be accompanied by an adult
Please note - for adults that are accompanying children 8 years or over, there is an entrance fee of £5 for adults, and £3 for additional children payable on arrival
